As Chief Product Officer of Elvie, the revolutionary femtech company, Jonathan O’Toole is at the forefront of improving women’s lives by creating technology that they want, need and deserve.
Since he joined Elvie in 2014 from Dyson, as one of the first few team members and the first product hire, Jon has grown the product team to 100 people strong, launched five world-class products, and continues to play a key role in the Elvie executive team, contributing to the company’s journey from East London start-up to global brand.
Jon takes stigmatised or forgotten areas of women’s health and technology and applies his empathy and creative flair to create transformative products. Under Jon’s leadership, Elvie has supported women on their breastfeeding journey (Elvie Pump, Elvie Stride, Elvie Curve, Elvie Catch) and enabled women to strengthen their pelvic floor, helping them to regain confidence and control after childbirth (Elvie Trainer).
The 50+ awards for these products, including several awards from The Red Dot and inclusion in TIME Magazine’s ‘100 Best Inventions’ twice, speak volumes. These products define or create categories and, most importantly, are effective in supporting and empowering new mothers in their most vulnerable and intimate moments.
