Second Edition

For the second time Innovators Under 35 arrives to Brazil; the most important recognition in the world for young people that are transforming the way we live through the development of new technologies or the creative application of existing ones.

A panel of expert judges, internationally renowned have evaluated the candidates’ projects along with an editorial team from MIT Technology Review, and elected 10 winners.

This edition, after evaluating almost 289 candidates in all areas of technology, we are proud to present the second generation of Innovators Under 35 from Brazil and their great projects.

The Award Ceremony was celebrated on November 19th at Cidade das Artes in Rio de Janeiro, in front of a large audience of international entrepreneurs and leaders of technology and innovation during the first edition of the emerging technologies conference EmTech Brasil 2015.

Among the ten winners, two received an additional recognition:

Claudio Trindade named Innovator of the Year for creating a new intraocular implant device to treat corneal diseases, and Danielle Brants recognized as Social Innovator for her digital newspaper that translates the news into child speak.
